Has anyone who has received the soft tissue sarcoma diagnosis on a leg followed any other protocol than full leg amputation?

Absolutely. Sometimes a dog can't have an amputation because they are already a Tripawd. In those cases, any number of treatments could be recommended depending on the type of suspected cancer. Radiation therapy is often the route many people take. But do tell us more about your own dog's story so we can better assist you.
