Doing great. Did a couple of laps around the yard today. Down the steps by herself. Saturday is the consultation to start chemo on Wed.

Sounds like Sassy is doing good. It's been three weeks for Rosie and she is amazing. Today, she starts chemo. I'm still nervous about it.
Sassy starts chemo on the 12th so I know what you mean. Its the unexpected.

05/04/2006 - Bosch, Sassy's pal, earned his wings 03/29/19 fought cancer for 4 months.

Hopefully the chemo will be uneventful for both of you. I was extremely apprehensive about Trouble's chemo, but the vet and my husband convinced me to give her one treatment and see how she tolerated it. She did great - she did five treatments.

Try to not be nervous about the chemo. Most dogs do well, and if your pup doesn't, you can always stop. Just know that the effects are cumulative. I didn't know that going in and had a major freak out when Abby was SO tired after her 5th treatment.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman.
