YAY for getting back to normal!
Wow that must have been crazy seeing her pull out the tube. Eeeek! I might have passed out.
Try your best to keep her quiet and mellow this week, I know it's hard. She should still only be going outside to potty and that's it. Sleep is medicinal for you both 🙂 Â
I had to go in the other room while she did it. I'm just too invested and didn't want to be weak in front of her. Yes, we're only going outside for five minutes potty breaks every 3 to 4 hours. The rest of the time she's either laying on the carpet, or on her bed Â
I totally take the blame for Friday, and letting her hop as fast as she wanted to. It's been months that she's been able to go freely, and it just felt good. My bad! Now I'm just trying not to beat myself up, and I'm practicing Toughlove a little more.Â
Thanks for all of your support and encouragement and kind words.
Don't beat yourself up, this is a learning experience for us all. We did exactly the same thing with Jerry. It's hard to keep them contained during recovery!
