The important thing is for you to be comfortable and confident in your decision. Each one of us makes the difficult decisions based on our own circumstance and all the love we have for our beloved pet. Put Mika first and you'll never be wrong. You will have given all you can give, there is nothing better than that.
It sounds like you have a wonderful vet who is looking out for your best outcome. I know I couldn't make the journey without the vet who loves Trouble almost as much as we do. Stay strong, fight hard, go far!
