Hi everyone. Hannah had one of her rear legs amputated one week ago due to Osteosarcoma. Because of that, she has been laying primarily on one side of her body. Last night I noticed a mark on her remaining back leg (inner thigh), looking kind of like a sore. I looked up different possibilities, which led me to think it might be a pressure ulcer? Although they seem to be more on the joints and hers is in the inner thigh. We did text a picture to the vet who said not to worry unless it’s there for another week (which is when our follow up appointment is), but from what I’ve read they can get bad if left untreated. Has anyone else dealt with this after an amputation? If so, any thoughts? I tried to include a picture, not sure if the link at the top works or not?

Welcome and best wishes for Hannah! It's hard to tell from the photo if there is any cause for concern, but the vet's advice makes sense – keep a close eye on it and taker her in if it gets worse.
