I feel ya.. day three here as well. Everything she does or does not do... I worry. I wish she could talk. I too dont know exactly what we should expect. Despite all good intentions, no one offers any guarantees. Best wishes for your dogs speeding recovery and healthy years ahead.

We got the sutures out! They said everything looks good - we do see another tiny mass on her shoulder that we're hoping is nothing but we will keep an eye on it and aspirate at a later date, when she is recovered from this. We didn't get to see a vet yesterday, but the tech was great! We have some scabbing, and they said it will resolve itself on its own.

I'm still in knots about the histopathology results, we haven't heard anything yet. I'll call here in a bit and see if they've by chance gotten results today.

We're getting there!

Well, I just got off the phone with the vet and they confirmed that nothing metastasized and that all of the tumor's cancer cells were removed this time, along with the leg. So we have ZERO chance of that Frankentumor ever returning!!! YAY!!!

I asked if she happened to see the lump on her shoulder and she didn't recall it so she said she'd be glad to schedule a complimentary recheck of her in a couple of weeks when Ziva is ready.

I. CAN. BREATHE!

I let Ziva get in her kennel today and she's in her happy place heart

Oh man, Ziva's progress has been INCREDIBLE! She's getting around a bit better on her own now, and she's allowed in and out of her crate when she's supervised. She's still working on figuring out how to potty on 3 legs and it's a little comical to watch. She's always been a traveler while pooping but now it's even more hilarious.

I have to go back to work on Monday - so I'm super nervous about leaving her alone all day. I'm thinking the best thing to do will be to leave her in her crate all day (that's how it used to be before amp so she's already used to that) and monitor her via our home cameras. Do you guys think that'll be ok?

Yes, I think getting back into your normal routine is good, and even better that she is used to her crate winker

I am really thrilled for you, and relieved. Her picture is totally adorable heart She looks like a happy girlie now!!

If that's what she is used to, then she should do fine. Can you get home at lunch to check on her?
