Picture of socks the day i brought her home. 4 days post op. Now that I have figured out this I will post more pics of her recovery.
Proud mama to Socks, a 7 year old greyhound. Became an amputee on 12/10/12. Once a racer, always a champion.

She is beautiful!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. She is looking awesome! Trouble always loved laying outside in the sun. I kept a toddler t-shirt on her until her incision healed to keep it from getting dirty.

Nice pictures! Maggie really enjoyed the sun as well- she was black too and stayed out until she was hot to the touch, then came in and cooled off on the tile, then back out to the sun.

Abby: Aug 1, 2009 – Jan 10, 2012. Our beautiful rescue pup lived LARGE with osteosarcoma for 15 months – half her way-too-short life. I think our "halflistic" approach (mixing traditional meds + supplements) helped her thrive. (PM me for details. I'm happy to help.) She had lung mets for over a year. They took her from us in the end, but they cannot take her spirit! She will live forever in our hearts. She loved the beach and giving kisses and going to In-N-Out for a Flying Dutchman. Socks is looking AWESOME!!!!!! So happy to see that she is enjoying life and also working on her tan. She looks so happy to be rolling around in that grass. Don't you just smile every time you look at her and see how well she is doing. Keep us updated and keep those pic coming.
