day 3 after amputation. Home since Sat am. Only pee'd 3 times since home, and not at all in last 18 hours. Vet follow up tomorrow. I did tell them via phone this am but they weren't concerned, but that was 8 hours ago... Thoughts?

Hmm. Seems odd they wouldn't be concerned. Could it be that since it's Monday and clinics are usually extra busy, that the person answering the phone might not have gotten the whole story? I personally would want my dog to have urinated by now.

What I was told by a veterinarian is that if a dog hasn't urinated within 12 hours then it's time to either go in for a visit to have them express the dog's bladder manually, or else DIY. If you don't know how there are YouTube videos about how to express a dog's bladder.

Just following up to see if you've  had any pee luck today.  Hopefully  Jerry's DIY video can help.

Has Ringo been drinking regular  amounts of water?

Please update when you can, okay?

Thank you so much for your help. It's been a rough few days but we are now 5 days post surgery and things are starting to look up.. He did pee. But it took 36 hours and a car ride to the vet for him to find a tree that suited him 🙄. She wasn't super concerned even then. Said it can take a long time for fluids to rebalance in their system.
