I’ll try and get some pictures uploaded for all to see my big beautiful boy brighter eyed and wagging tail. Now he’s taking over his rightful spot at the foot of my bed. I have to sleep with my knees in my chest or legs hanging off the bed because he’s sprawling across where my legs should go. I don’t dare move him because I wouldn’t want it any other way.

I'm so glad to hear Bosley made it through the hump! Sounds like you had the same experience I did with Ciara in December. Roller coaster indeed!! Once I got her off the pain meds for a few days, she turned around. I was so relieved when her sutures got removed too, it's a mixture of all those things.

Just wanted to give y’all a quick update.

our sweet Bosley passed a week ago today. He was only supposed to live around 3 months after the amp but Happily hopped past 7. Last Thursday he was acting normal and rolling around being silly right before bed time and Friday morning could barely move his (only) back leg. Vet said the cancer had most likely spread to his hips/lower spine. So we knew it was time. Hopefully he’s running on all fours and eating juicy cheeseburgers and sweet carrots. He was the sweetest soul I’ve ever known and has left a huge empty space in our home and my heart.

thank you all for the information and advice during this process. I felt was truly alone until I saw this group.

Gratefully,

Jennifer, Bosley’s mama

OhhhJennifer, it just breaks my heart to read this.  I'm  so very, very sorry.  We all know how hard this was to write ,and certainly  hard for us to read.

We know the void, the break in routine...we know it hurts so badly.. it war,s my heart to kmow thst Bosley lived life to the fullest right up until he headed to The Rainbow Bridge.  He gave you so many treasured memories to make your heart smile.

I remember how happy you were when Bosley first went to his treat box and when he first reclaimed  his spot at the vottom pf uour bes.  Of course,  we won't  focus on the time he tore at  his stitches!  But that wasn't  sweet, perfect, well-behaved Bosley's fault...we got to blame that on hubby!!

All the dogs st ths Bridge greeted Bosley  as he headed to the Bridge running fast and free.  They had a wheelbarrow full of dog cookies and other treats.

At the head of the welcoming  line were some  of rhe other pups who   headed to the Bridge recently, like sweet girl Roane.  We are calling this group of special pups AUTUM'N'S ANGELS.

All of us here can tell you that Bosley WILL connect with you.   He will let you know he is still with you, always with you❤

We are privileged  to celebrate Bosley's well loved life and equally as privileged to hold Bosley up as an inspiration to all newbies.  Bosley has shown everyone statistics  don't mean squat arpund here!!    A victory like Bosley's gives everyone hope.  I know the love and care you gave him was instrumental  in helping him blow statistics  oit of rhe water!

And yes, when you can, we would love to hear more about Bosley AND see pictures of this special boy.  His avatar  is so darn cute.

Surrounding  you with Bosley's eternal light

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too !

I am so sorry for your loss. I know Bosley is in good company running free and whole with our Angels. I would not be surprised at all if he sends you a sign to let you know he is ok and watching over you.

I know it is so hard to lose a loved one and the void is just massive. Would love to hear more about Bosley's awesome life after recovery if you ever feel up to it.

Sending you big hugs sp_hearticon2

Oh no, I'm so sorry your sweet boy is an angel now. My heart goes out to you! Cancer is so mean, we never know what it will do. And as hard as it was for you to let his spirit fly free, you gave him the gift of being out of pain and eternally happy, running around on all four legs (and stopping by the cookie jar at every chance!). His joyful spirit will always stick close to you.

You and Bosley had such a journey through amputation recovery. When you said you wished there was a playbook on the days after surgery, well, you two have helped write it. Thank you for being here to share your story and to let us know that Bosley's with all our Tripawd Angels. His life story is part of all of us now, and those who will be here in the future. He will never be furgotten.

Much love to you and your family, and all our condolences.

P.S. If you'd like to share photos and want help adding images in a Coping with Loss tribute just let us know OK?
