Just want to add to please reach out on the helpline. 1 844 TRIPAWDS. This is just too hard to try and go through this alone. I know it took a huge amount of courage to come back and post. We all just want to help somehow, someway.
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
I'm so sorry to hear this. As Sally said, this is shocking and I'm sure somewhat numbing for you. It took a lot of courage for you to go ahead with the surgery. Of course it was out of love for Shellie.
Please come back and check in with us when you are ready. In time you may be ready to prepare a tribute to Shellie with photos and stories so we can get to know her better.

I've been following your posts and came here today praying that beautiful Shellie had turned the corner only to read your devasting update. I'm so so sorry! We start this journey full of hope and faith not knowing the future. Your love for your special girl shines through your posts and please be kind to yourself because you did your utmost to save your girl. Know we all mourn with you and are holding you close in our hearts. Fly free new Angel!

Oh Sweetheart we are soooo sorry for you! Shellie was a very brave girl, but you are a warrior yourself! As with everyone else, I am shocked at how quickly things transpired for you! Please be kind to yourself and don't feel any guilt over what you tried to do for your darling girl! It sounds like she didn't want to make a big fuss about leaving you in this world, but please know that she will always be with you in Spirit! My heart breaks for you...
