Ditto, Kerren your insight and tips are invaluable, thank you.

Tramadol as a cause? Are you sure that's what it said? I've never heard of it as a probably cause. Then again I'm not a vet so...

How is your horse doing? Hope everything is OK. You are one amazing animal Mom, what great care they all get.

Sally, trauma, not Tramadol. :-/ This spell correct thingy gets me every time. She has not had Tramadol. Nor has she had any trauma that I know of. Did not want to freak everyone out here that has ever given Tramadol to their pet. Sorry!!!! My bad! Lori, TY & Gang

TY GUY, Best Black Lab ever! Diagnosed  and had amp in January, 2014. Kicked MRSA's butt. Earned his angel wings on April 16, 2014. Run Free my boy and don't forget a shoe. Ty is a proud member of the " April Angels". Ty sent us Daryl, a Tripawd rescue in Sept. of 2016. Daryl is 5 +or -. We are also Pawrents to Chandler, a Border Collie mix who is 15 and 1/2, Lucy, a Corgi who is 7, 2 minis, 2 horses, and a feisty cat named Zoe. Zoe had a non skeletal Osteosarcoma removed in July 2015. No Chemo, she was at least 16. She is going strong although she is now completely blind. She is now close to 20 and her hobbies are eating and sleeping in front of her personal heater.

Jerry, my horse is back to her old self this morning, Thanks for asking. The sedation has worn off, the stomach tubing forgotten and she is munching away on her hay. I need a live in vet. LOL

Sooo o glad your little horsey is okay. I just couldn't tell from your post. I know when a horse "goes down" due to anything it's not good. Whew!!clap

PICTURES! We need MINI HORSE pictures!

And glad to know Tramadol is still "safe"!clap Watch out, my typing skills are wearing off on you!

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

Oh so glad your horse is good! Colic is so scary, we watched a horse suffer with it last year, it wasn't pretty.

You're practically a vet with all that knowledge.
