Big victory to report! After almost a month, Miss Molly finally had her sutures removed on Saturday. Vet said the site looks great and to go ahead an take them out. There are two more layers of sutures internally which is great to hear. He sure took care of her. She was pretty happy not to have to wear that darn cone anymore!

She is getting along fabulously, I sometimes have trouble keeping up with her! I am watching her weight like a hawk. It's hard to tell if she has lost any, and it's only been a week. Now that her sutures are out, I can take her on more short little walks. Hopefully that will help with things!

Frosty Paws might be the way to go. We are starting to find it in more places, even WalMart. Our guys love the peanut butter flavor

Kathi and Murphy

Murphy is a five year old Lab/Chessie cross. He was hit by a car on 10/29/12 and became a Tripawd on 11/24/12. On 2/5/13, he had a total hip replacement on his remaining back leg. He has absolutely no idea that he has only three legs!

UPDATE: Murphy lived his life to the fullest, right up until an aggressive bone lesion took him across the Rainbow Bridge on April 9, 2015 and he gained his membership in the April Angels. Run free, my love. You deserve it!

That's wonderful news and I'm glad Molly is doing so well.  I think we all knew she would.  I too had a hard time keeping up with Leland once he got things figured out and I was so proud!!

Keep up the GREAT work Molly!!!

And maybe just a little ice cream to celebrate!

Yep, now you can really have fun getting back to your "new normal." Start with a pawty and treats (low cal of course!) and a big kiss to Molly from me! Have fun!
