We are shaking our heads as well, it's just unreal that anyone would have to deal with this twice in one lifetime, much less twice in a month. Ugh.

Met with the folks at UPenn. There was a mix of 4th year vet students and licensed vets plus the trial coordinator. I'm not going to use names because I have not asked if I could.
But Shilo is first for amp tomorrow (4/15) and with any luck home 4/16.
I've never been to UPenn in Philly and its a nice place.
Just got off the phone with the UPenn vet for a 6pm Shilo update... they are treating Shilo very well. So we'll see what happens.
Thanks for all the support.. but tomorrow it officially all starts over with another Tripawd.
Shilo is going to get some great care, she's a lucky gal to have you Paul. Good luck to both of you and keep us posted, we'll be sending all our love and well wishes for a speedy recovery.

I read the start of this thread the other day, but I've been mostly away from the site for a couple of weeks. But I've been thinking about you and Shilo.
I started down the cancer path again a few months after Maggie passed with Mag's little sis Tani, although I haven't faced another amp. One of the gifts Mag left me was the ability to cope with cancer again- I think TJ is doing the same for you. Of course one cancer journey in a lifetime is one too many, but at least you have the knowledge of what to expect, and the full support of your family here.
Good luck , and I'll be looking for an update on Shilo tomorrow.
