Wanted to give an update... Max gets to come home today! The abscess is draining less every day so they are sending him home. Just have to keep up with the antibiotics and warm compresses on the site.
Also the pathology results from surgery came back today and they got full clean margins! Nice to have some good news. As long as his healing gets back on track he is due for his first Chemo dose (Carboplatin) on sept 24.
❤️❤️
Yay for coming home!
Hopefully Max is fully on the road to recovery.
By the way... any story behind the name Maximillian? My full Pugs were all named after Shakespearean characters. I got my first two Pugs from my uncle who was an actor and named all his Pugs that way.
