We've made it through our first week and so far so good. The past couple days Maverick has been crying and trying to lick at his sutures but I know he's itchy and I'll remove the sutures on Saturday. I feel bad that there's nothing I can do, the itch is just part of healing and it'll be gone by the end of the week. I would upload some pictures but I'm having some computer issues (it really doesn't want to talk to my phone right now) so when I resolve it I promise I'll post some

He really is doing great and I think he's moving around better now than before. If there was ever a doubt amputation was the right decision, it is long gone now! He looks adorable in his shirts and he really likes them, especially with this freak cold front we're getting now. I can't wait for life to get fully back to normal and start training Maverick for the rest of his certifications. Keeping this working pup quiet is close to nightmare status, lol.
