My younger Golden, Jet, had a tumor removed yesterday. That's another topic, but as I was leaving the surgery center after dropping Jet off, I met a young man with a beautiful, brindle dog with a limp I recognized immediately. I asked whether it was osteo and was he there for an amputation, and both answers were yes. My heart just went out to him . . . he's in for a weird but wonderful ride, and I wished him all the best. I also told him about TriPawds, because this group of people has so much to offer.
He was picking Tiger up as we left with Jet. I didn't see Tiger, but understand his surgery went well. Best of luck Tiger, and your young man. We are here.
