@Pam ~ omd !  That brought me to tears!!!  Such a simple statement, but so full of truth!  wow

Martin ~ Murphy limped around for almost 5 months before he had his surgery due to a misdiagnosis.  When he did have surgery, the lymph node they removed was also positive, so that lowered his odds of making it.  And then the final biopsy came back as histiocytic sarcoma, which is highly aggressive, and normally found in the organs like liver & spleen rather than in the bone.  His prognosis was 12-18 months, if "we were lucky."  Well ... Murphy doesn't know what that means!  lol  He just turned 11 last week and in April it will be 4 years since his amputation.  So prognosis.  What does it really mean?  They thought that there was a new tumor in his left shoulder blade, but it's never grown, so...

Keep doing what you're doing.  Love Brigus every day.  Spoil him, take his picture, let him sleep on your bed, take him on a road trip, hold him, give him treats, just enjoy him! heartheartheart

Donna, Glenn & Murphy

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

We'll be sending lots of positive healing energy and best wishes for a quick smooth recovery!!! I bet Brigus will be glad that bum eye is gone. It had to hurt and it certainly was no good to him anymore.

Can't wait to see the pictures! Dogs and snow...the perfect match! 🙂 🙂

Hugs

So sorry to hear about Brigus.  Having hope will cause you to give off good vibes to your pup. I try to do my worrying when I'm driving alone or not with my pup.  I feel like we have to have hope every minute of the day as possible.

Thinking of you and Brigus and wishing a long happy time to come.

Otis - 121 lbs pre amp - 114 lbs post amp and now 118 lb Great Dane - English Mastiff X.  Started limping on 12/24/16.  Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma 12/28/16 - amputation of front left leg on 1/6/17.  Stitches out and 1st round of Chemo on 1/19/17.   2nd round of Carboplatin on 2/10/17 - 3rd round on 3/2/2017.  4th round was scheduled for 3/22/17 - however due to low WBC postponed - 4th Chemo completed on 3/28/17.  Had breathing difficulties, stayed in Tufts ICU overnight.  Due for 2 more rounds of Chemo but we are opting to go with homeopathy with Dr. Loops instead.
