Comet - 1999 to 2011
She departed us unexpectedly January 23, 2011 at the age of 12 1/2.
She was born with a deformed front leg and a tripawd all of her life.

One year is a totally awesome milestone for Miss Lily. I think the sooner the diagnosis, the better the chances of a longer survival. So glad she's having the time of her life. She's such a young dog.
And don't worry about jinxing her, it can only be good to have so many folks wishing you well. Can't wait for the next big update.

Congratulations to Lily and mom! Lily is gorgeous. What a beautiful picture! We are originally from Vermont now living in
CT (sigh)---so those gorgeous leaves look very familiar.
I totally understand about the jinx fear (I have the same thing). But we are so glad you shared your good fortune with us. Lily is very inspiring! We have also have gone the no-chemo route and Romeo is about to celebrate his sixth month ampuversary!

Oh my goodness......what a wonderful reason to celebrate!! Lilly is such a pretty girl, and sounds like all that spoling and love and treats are the best medicine!!
