Aww thanks, Sally and Happy Hannah...aka VA cheering section!

A toast to Happy Hannah and ice cream parties! way-cool

Deb and Angel Lexie* Diagnosed at age 13. Tried radiation first; wish we had amputated upon diagnosis (even with lung mets). Joined Club Tripawd April 2014 & Lexie loved life on 3 legs! Advice: Start physical therapy as soon as your vet clears it, especially hydrotherapy if available :-) See Lexie pics here.

Wow!  What a first day!  Wonderful news!  I hope the first night went well, too.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

~ Katy & Jackson

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12.  Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ!  No side effects.  We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments.  He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors!  Our love. Our funny little guy!

Yay Lexie!!  How sweet that she has a buddy by her side while she recovers. It sounds like everything is going really well - keep us posted!

Rosco is a mini-schanauzer diagnosed w/ melanoma on his right hind paw on 4/4/14 after two months of monitoring & testing.  Rosco joined team tri-pawd on 4/9/14.  He will be 10 years old in May and lives in Brooklyn. See cartoon Rosco here & Rosco videos here.

I'm so happy that Lexie is doing so well. She has a great support system...both human and canine. She's a lucky girl!

Hugs,
Carol
