Heather..thanks so much for the update-- I'm so happy about your good news!! Here's hoping for a homecoming tomorrow, with the spot on her lung gone.
Mary and Cemil
Cemil and mom Mary, Mujde and Radzi….appreciating and enjoying Today
I'm so glad to hear the good news! I'm on vacation and decided to check in and was so sad when I first opened the topic. Things happen so fast around here! I'm really happy for you that things are looking up. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for continued improvement.
Sadie's mom
Sadie is my 9yr old Rott/Shepherd mix. Diagnosed with osteosarcoma in her right scapula 1/28/10. Our brave girl had her amputation 2/13/10 and her last chemotherapy on 6/6/10. Unfortunately, a tumor appeared in her back right leg and on 10/7/2010 Sadie's earthly journey came to an end. On 10/24/2010 we adopted Ranger, a handsome Rott/Lab mix tripawd (got hit by a car) I think Sadie sent him to us.

I'm so happy to hear the good update on Kenzington!! I hope that she continues to improve and you get to bring her home soon!!!
Angel Jake and Wolfie's Mom
Jake, 10yr old golden retriever (fractured his front right leg on 9/1, bone biopsy revealed osteosarcoma on 9/10, amputation on 9/17) and his family Marguerite, Jacques and Wolfie, 5yr old german shepherd and the newest addition to the family, Nala, a 7mth old Bengal mix kittie. Jake lost his battle on 11/9/2009, almost 8 weeks after his surgery. We will never forget our sweet golden angel… http://jakesjou.....ipawds.com ….. CANCER SUCKS!
So awesome!!! Kensington looks great and so happy!! We're so happy for you!! (I can't get over how much she looks like my Mackenzie .) So cool that you get to bring her home!! Let us know how she's doing.
Kami (Mackenzie's Mom)
My sweet golden Mackenzie. She became my angel on Dec 29, 2010 at the age of 8 1/2 although she was always my angel from the time we brought her home. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in Sept 2009 and officially became a tripawd (front leg) on Nov 5, 2009. She will be forever in my heart and now she's running free with all of our other tripawd heroes. I love you Mackenzie!
Thanks for the update. Please keep us posted on Kenzie's progress.

Kami, I know! It's so weird, they really could be sisters.
They've got her on all sorts of antibiotics and we're just going to watch her real closely for the next few days. Her oncologist is back on tomorrow and I anticipate a call to discuss the next steps… x-ray to monitor pneumonia? possible discussion of continuing chemo…??
What would you guys do?? They initially said if we wanted to continue they would decrease the dosage by 25%. I don't know if the oncologist has a different gameplan in mind now, but I don't even know where I stand on continuing… I mean, I was to give her the best odds – but I never ever ever ever want to see her go through that again… WWTD? lol
edited to add: thanks for the video tips! 🙂
OH MY DOG.... that is such a pawesome video! Brought tears to my eyes. We are so glad that Kensington is on the mend! Love that smile!

Dane Mom Sue at nova.tripawds.com and Mom to Beautiful Great Dane Queen Nova, a Blind Tripawd, who kicked cancer's butt from 11/08-03/13. The Queen is Spirit Nova now, but her legacy lives on here at Tripawds!
Heather, Kensington, and all the family,
There are such tears of joy in this house because of the great news that Kensington's doing so very much better. At this moment, Miss Cherry's background is heading my page and I have to tell you that you movie brought back such fond memories. A happy face, huge greetings, then a very determined – LET'S GO HOME!!!! It was so very wonderful to remember.
Give Kensington big huggs, and by all means spoiling should be the order of the day.
Spirit Cherry's Dad
PS: Thanks to Kami for catching Dad's typo(s) - guess that he was just overwhelmed by the good news.
