Hello My Name Is Mary and My Little Girl is Lily (chocolate lab) she was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with Osteosarcoma in the left rear leg, week ago today her leg was amputated and is doing very well so far...my question is I've purchased K9-Immunity Plus to boost her immune system before surgery and continue after...but I've been reading Dr. Dressler Dog Cancer Survival Guide and he says he doesn't recommend K9 Immunity Plus because it has sugar in it ..to use use K 9 Factor and K9 Immunity or Armor up..I wanted to know what other Owners are using for there Furbaby or has anyone heard of Onco Support?

We used K9 Immunity for Jerry and believed it helped contribute to his 2-year survival. But that was back in 2007/08, before K9 Immunity Plus and Dr. Dressler's Dog Cancer Survival Guide . Yes, cancer feeds on carbs, so check out Apocaps if sugar is a concern. Search the Tripawds Nutrition blog for many posts and reviews about both over the years.

We had good success with their recommended combo of K9 Immunity
, K9 Transfer Factor, K9 Omega and Apocaps
.
We ended up pulsing the Apocaps
with Artemesinin. So, we'd do a week of Artemesisin followed by a couple weeks of Apocaps
, etc.
If you use the K9 Immunity , no need to use Armor Up as they have similar ingredients. From their site: Mushroom supplements such as K9 Immunity™ Trio, K9 Immunity Plus™ and the Armor-Up®, are not meant to be taken together. They are similar supplements so there is no need to purchase all three.

Thank You For The Help and Information..Very Appreciated! Sugar Is A Problem For Her With Her Severe Allergies.And I'm Not Letting Cancer Feed Off Of Anything I Give Her....I didn't read the ingredients all the way down..A Lesson Learned..
Sorry I'm late in seeing this. I have some Armor Up left over from my Izzy if you'd like to try it. She was on K9 Immunity Plus for a long time and we tried Armor up when it came out. It is meant to replace K9 IP and Izzy did great on both, she was just really old and we didn't finish all of the Armor Up I purchased. You can send me a private message if you're interested in trying it. I think I have about two weeks' worth on hand! 🙂

Momma to the world's most beautiful American Bulldog, Izzy!! Lost her front leg to OSA 9/18/15. Diagnosed w MCT in June 2016. Celebrated her 1 year ampuversary with knee surgery on 9/18/16! MCT recurrence in Dec 2016. Happy & hungry til nearly 14, earning her wings on 7/31/17.
