Quick update: Jill's blood work came back normal, but her white blood cells are on the low side of normal so her oncologist wants to hold off for another two weeks before we start the metronomics . So we will re-test her blood in 2 weeks and then go from there. Good news is everything else on the chemistry and CBC came back great!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Another round of atibiodics, right?
Really good report card though Jill! Ow go not the books:-)
Congratulations!! Sally and Happy Hannah
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
haha, Yes Sally, this is the same test she has already failed TWICE! BUT she did not fail this time, more like she got a D-
Her counts were in the normal range, just on the verrrrrrry end of the low side. So, no antibiotics needed this time, she just needs a week or two to build up some white blood cells
