It's been one month since Jill finished IV chemo, so today she had her one-month check up. That included a physical exam, CBC, Chemistry and the dreaded chest X-Ray.
Great news - chest/lungs are ALL CLEAR! We'll get the blood work back tomorrow. The vet is very pleased with her physical exam as well. Jill has lost a little weight (4 ounces, which is really not that much, her weight really fluctuates anyway), but she just wants to keep an eye on it.
So once her blood results come in tomorrow, if all looks good, she will start metronomic cytoxan.
As always, thank you to this entire community for the support, I would never make it through this journey without you.

Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Diagnosed with Periarticular Hystiocystic Sarcoma Feb 14-13; Amputation March 18-13, and diagnosed with STS April-14. Tahoe touched so many people while visiting us, leaving a massive void in our lives. Always Missed, Never Forgotten!!
Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy Chemo buddy. That is so awesome. I knew it would be positive news. 
I can't wait to hear about the treatement plan and how the Metronomics go.

Sending you lots of hugs and a basket full of whiskers!! Yep, Happy Hannah saw Jill's whisker plight and has been going around plucking the whiskers out of the cats here and is sending them to Jill:-) They maybe a little ripped up, slobbered on and a few heads attached............:-)

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!

Franklin, he was the Happiest Dog on Three Legs! Diagnosed 09/26/2012 with Osteosarcoma, amputated 12/4/2012. Had a wonderful 5 1/2 months painfree until he ran for the Bridge on 5/15/2013. Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.

Wonderful news!
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14
