Glad to hear all went well while at work. Hopefully, last night was uneventful too!
I think you will have to wait for the admin to approve your first post on the blog for us to see the images. Will look forward to seeing Gideon in his onesie.
I'm curious about the sizing. Do you think it was the length on Gideon you needed the bigger size? That will help someone in the future with sizing. With Purrkins, I cut it off, so it was not relevant. Glad to hear it's helping and an option. Many people ask, but no one I know of has reported if it did or did not work. Thanks for doing so!!! It will indeed help other rear leg kitties.
Scratches to Gideon be good today, buddy.
Hugs,
Holly & Purrkins💝💝💝
Ooooh that's really good to know that you didn't need to take the onesie off for toileting. Thank you for letting us know, and thanks for the lovely photos. It's very stylish!
Here's to more good days and easier recovery!

Sizing- The length was, and kind of still is, an issue. The newborn size didn't fit at all, the sleeves were way too tight and it didn't reach his head. I opted to skip the 0-3 and go straight to 3-6. Even with those we cut the seam of the arm hole (that goes over his leg) so it wasn't as tight. The first night he had it on it kept sliding down and pulling on his shoulders. We've tried to remedy that by tying it to his cone so it stays up by his neck (he's asleep but I'll take pics when he wakes up to clarify). He is also a small-ish cat, about 10lbs, so anyone a bit heavier or longer may even want to try 6-12.
I'll keep this updated, I'd love to be a resource for other rear leg parents trying to use these since I know there's not much out there!!
Your adorable Gideon, 😘 I love the onesie mom picked out for you too! It looks like you put the onesie on backward like the video, correct? I'm glad it's helping!
I hope Gideon is having a good day eating, drinking, going potty & resting!
Thanks again for all the info; it will help many rear leg kitties.
Give Gideon a smooch from us, please!
Hugs

This experience is a HUGE resource, thank you. We'd love to turn it into a blog post featuring Gideon once it's all behind you, if that's OK.

Absolutely! I think you saw that I started a blog and I’ll add more to the blog post about the onesie. I also made a video (starring Gideon of course!) about using it. I’ll put it on YouTube later and link it- it’s too big to upload directly to the blog lol
thank you both again for being so helpful! Holly, I’ve been passing on all the pats and kisses to Gideon, he’s definitely getting lots of love!
Cool thank you so much. Yeah I saw the blog and can't wait to see how it shapes up. Even more helpful!
