In today's Dolittler post, Dr Patty Khuly discusses five tips to minimizing post-operation scars. While I'm sure we all agree that form should follow function when it comes to our pups' surgical healing, Dr. Khuly does present some good avice you may want to discuss with your vet if you are concerned about scarring and healing after amtation surgery.
We often hear about dogs coming home from surgery wrapped up tight in bandages, but I can't help but think this is sometimes more for the pepople than the dog, protecting them from often unsightly surgical wounds.
