Oh wow, I totally understand! I am glad she didn't rip those sutures out. Looks like she will be the cone of shame queen now for a while, lol. Hopefully that cone will stop her from "squeezing" out of her crate now.
Just FYI, some have done that donut cone I was mentioning on top of the hard cone of shame for insurance. We have had our fair share of the Houdini family here 😆
I am glad all ended well! Huck couldn't wear a cone. He was feral when we took him in. So I did end up having to take him back in for an additional couple of staples during the recovery process
How is Applejack's pack handling this? Are they having any interaction yet?
Fingers crossed for a good recheck and seroma under control!
Hugs,
Jackie and Huck

Glad all is well!

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
She had her seroma checked last night and it had already gone down quite a bit. The vet wrapped it again to encourage the rest of it to absorb. He doesn’t doesn’t believe she will need to have it drained but we’re going to keep an eye on it just in case.
We haven’t let her around the pack yet. The 11 year old mastiff should be fine around her but the 3 year old, Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler mix is a little too high energy for her right now. They were great playmates before. I know they’re missing each other.
