I'm so sorry to hear about sweet sweet Nyla. I do want to share my experience about chemotherapy, especially the first IV. Rosie had her first carboplatinum about three weeks after surgery, and was spunky and felt better than she had in a long long time. It lasted a few weeks, and then the last two didn't seem to help. I think the cost was about 350 for the first dose of chemo, and for Rosie it was money well spent.
