I'm just at a loss for what to do. Her back foot is still so painful. Worse than her front ever was. Is swollen. Won’t even put it down. She’s just laying around miserable. Won’t even lift her head up. And she hasn’t peed now in 24 hours. Keep taking her out to try. All she wants to do is lay down in the grass which is wet. I’m just beside myself. She was fine the first day home. Now she’s just miserable

I'm sorry to hear this, but the rapid swelling indicates a recent injury to me rather than a new cancer.  Wishing you and Sierra all the best as you visit the vet and work through this setback.

Oh sweetie I am so sorry to hear ...

Did you call your vet to find out how you can press her bladder so she pees?

Wish I could offer some clues as to what the foot swelling might be but I am at a loss there too. 

Please know I am thinking about you both and  hope your vet can solve the problems so Sierra can be a happy dog again soon.

Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)
