I hope the appointment today goes well and it is just fat. My last doberman had a HUGE fatty tumor. Seriously, it was about the size of my fist! But it was benign.
Jac and Angel Spencer. Spencer was 5.25 years old. He fought a grade 3 fibrosarcoma, started on his shoulder. Left front leg amputated in August 2011. 15 weeks of chemo finished 12/22/11 (mytox and adria). Lung mets found on x-rays 12/28/11. Started carboplatin 1/6/12. Went to Heaven on 2/27/12. I miss him like crazy every day. See his blog here: http://spencer.tripawds.com/

Love Never Ends
Dakota-- here's hoping it's just big lump of B9 FAT. Looking forward to a pawsitive update later today!
Scout: January 31, 2002 to November 7, 2011
Scout's diagnosis was "poorly differentiated sarcoma"; amputation 1/11/2011. Scout enjoyed 9 fantastic years on 4 legs and 9 glorious months on 3 legs. If love alone could have saved you…
Hey Dakota's Momma, I'm thinkin' maybe he ate another raccoon paw and now it's trying to claw its way out?
Ewwwwww.
I hope it's a big nuthin. Remember when I had that big lump on my amp site too? Turns out it was just post-surgery junk, which I hope it's not for you since it might mean surgery, but in the big scheme of things it's better than other types of lumps. If they can't figure it out, tell those docs to give me a call, I'll tell them my story.
Good luck dude.
