Ive put a little video together of the lovely Gilda of how her wound has healed and her first trip out to the park.

She had a fantastic time meeting all the other dogs and getting pleanty of fuss of eveyone, she had little rests now and again, so she was very sensible.

I think it did her the world of good to get out to be honest, all she seemed to be doing was sleeping lol

getting her out has made all the difference, shes back to her normal self again, which is amazing. big-grin

Hope you like it winker

Ive just been reading about your woody, it sounds like hes doing really well, must've been a bit of a shock for you , sounds like it all happened so fast.

i was so worried about Gilda, the people on here are amazing and were very reasuring, they said it would take time and it has, i am thrilled with her progress and im sure you will be too with Woody.

Its lovely to have her back to her old self, i was beginning to think she didnt love me any more, its easy to forget just what a big opperation they have gone through.

I thought it would be good to add some pictures of the wound and how it was healing, the vet is very pleased with how its looking, i was so concerned abiut the swelling but after a couple of days with the vest on it had almost gone.

good luck with Woody and remeber if you need any help and advicfe there are plenty of lovely people on here than will help x

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
