Any site I can. go to for latest research on benefits of metronomic after carboplatin finished (four rounds----onco. said fifth just icing on cake, not really necessary).

Xrays clear nine weeks ago. Onco. Seems ambivalent about it (not a surprise). Thinking it's good "preventative measure"

Also, what does research show to be best combination for osteo. with LEAST side effects?

Thank you so much for your input. It's valued and your time is appreciated!

Gratefully, Sally and Happy Hannah

Sally, we have very current information about metronomic chemotherapy in the link you see here. Scroll through it for interviews and discussions about how it works, what to expect, etc. Have you talked to your oncologist about it yet?

Thanks Esther and Snoop, Snoop gets his stitches out Monday already? WOW! Time flies when you're having fun, huh Snoop?
Yeah, let's compare notes. My onco, always just runs into the waiting room for no more than sixty seconds and that's pretty much the extent of it. That's okay,I'm so busy hugging all over Happy Hannah anyway to talk much. Basically it's, "yeah, sure, we can try that if you want to"
You are a kind soul Ms.Esther!

Michelle, you and Sassy girl are pretty much our role models for cutting edge treatment!! You are!! Just kinda rolling some things around my head (and there's a lot of empty space poop there for rolling!) and maybe, depending on what you think......maybe I could do a phone e consulit with your vet.. I'll see what I can find out from the links first though.

The onco. Did say something like....therearen't any papers published because there are no controlled studies ?? .?? Something like that...........Anyway, sounds like your vet...and this site ..are way ahead of the curve anyway..
Thanks Michelle.....give sweet SassySugar Bear a hug for us!

It's always surprising for me to hear that there are still a few oncos out there who aren't up on metronomics . But if you scroll through the information we have  you'll see there are plenty of oncos who are. It's not a new treatment, it's been around for at least 10 years in humans and dogs. If you decide to do it rest assured that lots of folks have tried it with good results and you won't be doing anything that's untested (is that a word?)
