Peda has possible vasculitis potentially arising from either a tumour or Palladia. Her last dose of Palladia was Sunday evening and noticeable swelling and deterioration happened Tuesday night. ( a more detailed post is over in 'share a story'.)

She has quite a bit of swelling in front leg still and back paws but her muzzle is a bit better. We are starting steroids in morning as she had a NSAID Wednesday night unfortunately and having to wait. 36 hours isn't really long enough but the swelling is pretty bad and we can't wait much longer.

I am wondering if anyone else has had similar experience with vasculitis either from drug or tumour? She was pretty ok for today and was bright tonight but went down hill rapidly at 11pm. I gave her usual pain meds at 7pm (Gabapentin and tramal) and have given another dose of tramal at 00:30 after contacting emergency at the vet hospital. It's now 01:30 here. She is finally settling. She also had injection of opioid at 23:30.

I got her up a little while ago and shifted her to lay more upright and more on right side. She was laying on left side when she became distressed. She is certainly calmer now and hopefully going to sleep!

I'm concerned that she is having these episodes of distress and trying to work out how to keep her comfortable. At the moment it seems to be drug her up and hope she calms down. I am assuming distress is from swelling and uncomfortableness and pain.

I'd really appreciate any input at this stage - particularly from others with similar experiences.
