Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Sweet Eurydice, we have all missed you but am so glad that you visit often. It was a difficult summer for those of us "left behind" but we still adore and celebrate you every day.

Momma to the world's most beautiful American Bulldog, Izzy!! Lost her front leg to OSA 9/18/15. Diagnosed w MCT in June 2016. Celebrated her 1 year ampuversary with knee surgery on 9/18/16! MCT recurrence in Dec 2016. Happy & hungry til nearly 14, earning her wings on 7/31/17.

A year? Oh my gosh I know that feels like forever.
It's hard to believe she is an angel now, because Eurydice's loving light and spirit is so strong here, and always will be. She shed those earthly clothes for a lovely set of wings, and as sad as that is, it means that she will forever be a part of our family, as will you (and Woody and Pedro too!). There is so much she has to teach and share, and show the world what giant breed Tripawds can do.
Thank you Teresa, for offering your wisdom, your humor and of course, sharing your travels in her honor. We are stronger and wiser because of you and Eurydice.

I know this day is hard. I can't believe 1 year has gone by. It just doesn't seem possible. Your sweet sweet girl is still alive in all of us. Thank you for sharing her/your travels with all of us.

Happy Hannah had a glorious additional bonus time of over one yr & two months after amp for osteo! She made me laugh everyday! Joined April's Angels after send off meal of steak, ice cream, M&Ms & deer poop!
It boggles my mind that this topic is 73 pages long. That in itself tells me how much you and Miss Cow are cherished within this family. Thankyou for always being there to support the rest of us.

I never got to meet you, but you have made me smile and melted my heart countless times. You never let the sorrow of Eurydice leaving her earth clothes cripple you. You understood when Eurydice transitioned, she a gave you some beautiful silver earth wings to fly with her. And we have the privilege of continuing her travels with her through you, Pedro and Woody "others"😎
As Tom noted, the fact that just this thread alone is -73 pages showing how Miss Cow is so loved and adored by us all.......yeah....a very special gal.💖💖
