Eurydice 77kg/170lb Great Dane limping end of April 2016, amputation (right front leg/osteosarcoma) 4 May 2016 6 courses of carboplatin followed by metronomic therapy, lung mets found 30 Nov 2016. 3 courses of doxorubicin, PET scan 26 Jan 2017 showed more mets so stopped chemo. Holistic route April 2017. Lung X-ray 5 May 2017 showed several tennis ball size mets, started cortisone and diuretics. Miss Cow earned her XXL silver wings 12 June 2017, 13 months and 1 week after amputation and 6 1/2 months after lung mets, she was the goofiest dawg ever and is now happily flying from cloud to cloud woof woofing away :-)

Wow another great day with mom, dad and aunties. Topped off with music at the beach and meeting new friends and sidekicks. Auntie Clare is great at holding back a gift to give to you! Unlike me, I'd want to give you everything at once. I think delayed gratification is best though. Woody is a beautiful wood pecker. Another treasure for a happy, beautiful Dane.

EURYDICE!!!! Your stamina absolutely amazes me!! Being the center of attention 24/7 and givong cuddles all day long, entertaining friends, playing with your toys, being on.beach patrol, being a groupie for a band....and the band being YOUR groupie....getting your beautiful photogtaph taken all day long...even when you try to sleep.....even getting in and out of the car!!! WOW!! I get exhausted just thinking about it!! 🙂
And btw, your Mom, your Aunties, your Dad and sweet Mickey, are ALL very photogenic!! Mickey makes a very cute lap dog hugging Auntie Chloe! Your Mom looked very pretty in that photo of her watching the band and having a very lovely smile on her mug. She, along with everyone else, was havving a fun time!! 🙂
And on top of everything else, you are constantly being offered treats!! Although, being hand fed isn't exactly tiring! 🙂
You, Miss Cow, have some of THE most DEEEEELIGHTFUL toys ever created!!! 🙂 Where else do you find Woody Woodpecker and Pedro the Penguin sleeping together with a Cow!! 🙂 🙂
