Ooooh acupuncture helps so many doggies, I hope it helps him too! Don't be surprised if the first session makes him tired and a little achier than before. Your rehab vet will probably tell you this, but the first session can be a doozy, it's really the body's way of eliminating all the bad stuff (aka a "healing crisis") but it's temporary. let us know how it goes. You are such an awesome pawrent!

Good! Glad to hear you're on an upswing...even if there's a downswing ahead.

ACL tear in right hind leg 12/5/12 and scheduled ACL repair surgery 12/21/12. Pre-op xrays revealed osteosarcoma. Amputation 12/28/12. Chemo (carboplatin) started Jan 10, 2013 and ended on April 5, for a total of 5 doses. He handled carbo like a champ! No side effects. We started metronomic therapy at his third chemo and have been also doing some holistic treatments. He's a lively, playful 10 year old huskie-boarder collie and a very proud member of the Winter Warriors! Our love. Our funny little guy!
Megan,
So glad Sampson is eating better! We continue the struggle with Daisy. I laughed at your meat slurry comment as I was in the kitchen making liver pate for her yesterday because she inhaled some of ours two nights before! And, of, course, no go. But she does seem to have an affinity for the Darford heart-shaped cheese biscuits at our oncologist's office and I managed to find some of those today (and thank god she still likes them), her other food du jour is Bixbi pork jerky and Amazon delivered Dyne high calorie liquid tonight (looks a lot like condensed milk) and she licked a bunch of that from my finger. She is currently vetoing anything pill-pocket like or that she thinks I might be hiding pill pockets in (like soft cheese or hot dogs) so I''m having to shove them down (which of course breaks my heart). Hang in there and hugs to Sampson!
