Cold tissue where bruising is?

Hi.
I have a Labrador Staffie cross called Jazmyn. She had her rear left leg amputated on Friday due to cancer. I have some concerns about the bruising around her suture site. I know that bruising is normal so I'm not worried about that, but the tissue/ skin or whatever you want to call it, that the bruising is on is cold especially when compared to the not bruised area on the other side of her suture site. I probably shouldn't be worried because she has been to the vets every day since the surgery and had several people who know about these things touching poking and prodding the area. But I can't help but think of things like bad circulation, or dying tissue and I am wondering if anyone else noticed the different temperatures of the skin after surgery.
Thanks for your help

I wouldn't worry too much about the bruising unless its brown.  Bruising is normal on a amputation site.  Here are some of Sassy after amputation.  Hers was a little warm but not hot.  I just kept an eye on it.  If its brown you need to see a vet right away.

this one is 4 days after amputation

this one is about a week or so after amputation

this is a better one showing bruising on her

this is still within 4 days (not sure which one as I uploaded to photobucket & didn't label but she still has her Fentanyl patch and we removed that at day 4).

Hope this helps a little
