So now that we know Jill is just a wee bit sensitive to chemo her onco has recommended she go on Chlorambucil (Leukeran) instead of cytoxan for her metronomics . I searched the forums and see dogs who have been on Leukeran but wondering if anyone has some recent experience with it? Thanks!
Jill is a 9-year-old tuxedo kitty. She was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2012 on her toe in her right hind leg. Her leg was amputated on 12/12/12 and she completed four rounds of chemo (2 of Carbo, 2 of Doxy) in April 2013. Glad you are getting your options narrowed down. It looks like Leukeran has had some good results in studies like this one. I'd love to hear what others have experienced with it.
