Good for you and Ruby!

It took awhile for me to figure things out.  After the short prognosis I was just waiting for Maggie to disappear, watching the calendar like the prognosis was set in stone.  Meanwhile Maggie was just getting on with her life- it was 'normal' to her!  I finally realized that Mag wasn't missing what she couldn't do anymore (that was all me), she was too busy figuring out how to do what she wanted to do and what she needed to do. I was finally learning to Be More Dog , still a work in progress big-grin.

Tri-pug Maggie survived a 4.5 year mast cell cancer battle only to be lost to oral melanoma.

Laini- Hoorah for Ruby!  Now that you can breathe... Live in the moment. Ruby does not want any stinking special treatment lol.  NORMAL is great. Enjoy, so happy for you.
