Wanted to check in and let you know how Charlie is doing. He had is amputation 2 months ago and has been doing great! We had some unrelated gastrointestinal issues which gave us a bit of a scare but it ended up working itself out. Seeing the way Charlie gets along today makes it absolutely clear to us we made the right decision for him, and we are thankful he helped us with the decision. He has really surprised us and shown that he still has more life to live. Here is Charlie from this morning tearing it up on 3 legs!

Murphy had his right front leg amputated due to histiocytic sarcoma at 7 years old. He survived 4 years, 2 months & 1 week, only to be taken by hemangiosarcoma at 11 1/2 years 6/12/17

Nitro 11 1/2 yr old Doberman; right front amp June 2014. Had 6 doses carboplatin, followed by metronomic therapy. Rocked it on 3 legs for over 3 years! My Warrior beat cancer, but couldn't beat old age. He crossed the Bridge peacefully on July 25, 2017, with dignity and on his terms. Follow his blog entitled "Doberman's journey"

You all are amazing, and I think everyone on this site qualifies as a Tri-pawed hero no matter what the situation! Jerry, agreed on the Denver Tripawds gathering! I'm traveling a bit for work over the next month but I'll have some time after that.
