I adopted my six year old tripaw in October. We don’t know how she lost her leg or why and it was amputated right below the elbow/shoulder? So there is a little nub. When they found her on the streets, she was completely healed and they believed she’s been a tripaw for quite a while. Today we went for a walk and came in and she is bleeding the slightest bit from the nub. It’s not a lot of blood at all and it’s just a tiny part. Wondering if it could be dry and started bleeding or if she might have rubbed it on something. Just want to know if there is anything I should do for it.
Hi Trinity and family! Welcome! Thank you for adopting this sweet pup!
On my phone now and wanted to get your post approved so others can chime in. Real quick: how long are her walks? And how far? I ask because oftentimes when a dog bruises or cuts the stump it's because they're not able to hold themselves upright. Usually it's because they are getting too much activity for their current fitness level. What does her typical exercise routine look like?

Awww...thank you for adopting a doggy, but especially adopting a tripawd doggy♥️. What's her name?
As Jerry said, most likely she scratched the "nub", hit it on the ground...something like that. And if she tries to ise the nib for balance or as a support of she gets tired, it could definitely develop a sore as a result.
In the meantime, you can try to configure some padding to protect it while it heals. And, as Jerry noted, maybe keep a check on jer activity level.
Off topic soet of, but you can also try and consult a Certified Rehabilitation Specialist and the Tripawds Foundation will pay for the first appointment. There is a lot you can do to keep a tripawd strong and protect their joints, etc.
Update when you can.
Hugs
