Well, it's a big week coming up. Riot's eye stitches healed well, but there's still a small flap from where he scratched it. He sees the vet tomorrow to see if we can leave it. I hope it's just cosmetic, which is fine by me.
He also has chemo Wednesday, assuming his scans are okay. I'm sick over the thought of the c word spreading. He's been doing so well. He's eating, playing, and he just started going up the two back stairs semi regularly. If he's tired, he can't.
He's been very happy lately, and finally looking more like himself. I try not to let him see me stressed.

My sweet soulmate Roane was diagnosed with osteo in June of 2019. Had a rear leg amp on July 2nd & crossed the rainbow bridge to be with her sister Gypsy on the first day of Autumn Sept 23 2019.

We have our paws, fingers, toes & tails crossed for clear scans. It's hard not to worry of course, but just keep watching how Riot is doing and know that no matter what, he is loving this second chance you gave him for a happy, pain-free life. Talk about making the most of each day!

Clear scans! He's lost a bit more weight than they'd like. I have to try to build up 5 pounds of muscle if we can. What a relief. His WBC was too high for chemo, sadly. A week of antibiotics and hopefully we can do it next week.

He was always the perfect weight. Now he's burning more calories to get around. So, we'll add more tasty stuff to his food. Hopefully he'll be up to eating tomorrow. When he's exhausted, that's a no go.
