Today Bear had his last round of chemo, he was also x-rayed for lung mets. It is with great joy that I inform you all that the cancer has NOT spread!!!! He is doing fantastic! I would like to thank everyone for the support and encouragement. This site is an absolute blessing. If you would like to learn more about Bears journey, check him out on Facebook under Bear Pup. I am grateful for all of you.
Bear is a 7 year old Rottweiler. He became a Tripawd pup on April 1, 2013.

Way to go Bear you sweet thing! Great news. 
Liberty (Libby) was diagnosed with OSA on 1-22-13. Right front amputation on 1-31-13. No IV Chemo. Metronomic Therapy started 2-19-13 along with supplements and some home cooking. Lungs clear until 1-06-14. She's still her happy, hoppy, bossy self. Living the dog life to the fullest and a proud Winter Warrior. :) RIP my Libby 4-21-03 to 3-19-14

So wonderful to hear good news! You go Bear!
Spirit Shooter was a Miniature Australian Shepherd who was diagnosed with a MCT and had a LF amp 1/28/13 at 13-1/2 years old.
Shooter crossed the Bridge on 8/28/13, his 7 month ampuversary and two weeks from his 14th birthday.
Thank you all for your support. Because of you and this site, I made the right decision for Bear.
Sally to answer your question, Bear had 4 rounds of carboplatin. He handled every one like a champ.
For anyone that reads this, I know every pups experience may be different. But Bears quality of life is great and he is the same pup on 3 legs as he was with 4. If I had the choice to do it all over again, I wouldn't hesitate. This is only a page in the chapter, if everything were to change tomorrow, I would still feel the same way. Every day that I have with my best friend makes it worth it.

Oh this is such wonderful news! Thanks so much for posting! This is so inspirational for us others who are just approaching your milestone. Sometimes I don't feel like I can breath when I think about the pending X-rays in three weeks. So happy Bear got the all clear!
