Oh thank heavens! I have been away for a few days and just saw the title to this thread now. This is SUCH a relief. Please give Eurydice a massive smooch from me and the girls.

Was just thinking - perhaps our dogs have been fooling us all along? They really can read, and have been sneaking into our computers or phones after hours to read, and laugh at, our posts. Maybe they have their own doggie and kitty forum somewhere? And, what they have learned is that if they display anything even remotely medical, they get spoiled. Butt infection? Cheeseburgers. Sleeping a lot? Steak. A cough, sneeze or pant? Special treats and lots of cuddles. Turning down dry kibble? Chicken breast, liver, sausage, scrambled eggs - this list goes on. OK, this is serious stuff that we are all dealing with, but these guys have really learned how to get the most out of their time on earth!

Hey Sally, Clare and Christine 💛💚💜
Yup, burgers seem to be a miracle cure for our fluffies 🍔🍔🍔🍔 no limit to how many they'd like to have 🍴🍴🍴🍴
I cried laughing out loud with your post 😂😂😂 it is so true, our clever fur babies probably know how to get us worried so they can be fed with anything they desire 🍰🍭🍦🍧🍔🍟🌭🧀🍗🍖🍳🍕🌮🍬🍪 😜😝😛
And Sally you're quite right saying my girl's butt looks better than Madame Kardashian's 🍑 even muscleless as it now is 😂
Clare, welcome back 💕💕 we girls were wandering where you were 👯
Sending you a HUGE hug and cuddles to your sweeties 💞💕💞🐾😘🐶

But then I got to thinking, none of us ever questioned that you were checking her butt for lumps. . . Like we all accept that as normal behavior for dog owners. No wonder they deserve cheeseburgers!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife

Christine my jaw was hurting with all the laughs 😂😂😂 you've hit it on the nail 🔩🔨 who in their perfect minds would check their dog's butt ????
As it were (and to my "defence" 😆) I focused on her butt whilst she was out and saw this lumpy area but still, who would even focus on their dogs butt ?
The answer is ALL of us 😂😂😂😂😂
And from now on I AM regularly checking her butt 😬
Nothing like a good laugh and I tell you Christine, you made my day with all your comments here, one better than the other😆
