Hi all!!
We made it to sunny San Diego a week ago and Arya had chemo # 3 a few days ago (osteosarcoma rear leg amp). For anyone just tuning in, first chemo was a little rough with diarrhea and then some sort of stomach bug. We bumped up the dose again on this recent chemo#3 and she did so well! No side effects at all. Also had a mid-treatment x-ray and still looking good!!! Our original oncologist rec'd 5 total treatments , which the new Onc was ok with. We are going to have another x-ray with the last chemo treatment in 6 weeks.
Arya is LOVING it here in California , as are we. Thank you to Jerry for recommending ETHOS Veterminary Health North County - we had such a great first impression with their care and to my surprise the cost was very similar to what we paid for chemo back in Virginia. It actually was a little bit cheaper as they do a military discount!
I wanted to share some pics from our move cross-county. Arya got to see the Grand Canyon First pic is Arya sunbathing on hernew balcony. And she got to meet a very friendly donkey!!! Hopefully I get the pics working right.
Loving this update! Hearing how Happy Arya is and how well she's doing has me grinning ear to ear. I do believe she's grinning ear to ear also in that beautiful picture😁 Arya is so pretty.
It took me a minute to realize I could slide for more pictures. They are priceless! Ahe's clearly living life to the fullest and NOTHING is holding her back from enjoying all the adventures life has to offer. Making friends with the donkey, soaking in the beauty of the Grand Canyon......loving these photos😎
Thanks so much for updating us and for sharing these wonderful pictures. Arya is so darn pretty🥰
