Hi again everyone! I know it has been a long time since I have posted. I'm sorry about that. I have been enjoying tuna fish every day (Bob and I like to share a can of tuna when he comes home from work). I have also been enjoying things like roasted chicken, pan cooked cod with rice, pizza, cheese (I love cheese), roast beef and whatever else Bob & Nana are eating.

I had my fourth and final chemo (carboplatin) treatment 12/17/2014. Recently (3/26/2015) I went to Dr. Dale's office for a followup visit to see how I'm doing. Dr. Dale did bloodwork and X-Rays to check my lungs and other tissues. He gave Bob another 60 count bottle of 100mg carprofen (Rimadyl) and another fluralaner chew (3 month Bravecto). I take a 100mg carprofen tablet every day. It helps me feel better, especially in my joints with the anti-inflammatory effect (I have mild hip dysplasia) Dr. Dale's office also trimmed my nails.

When Bob came to Northgate to pick me up, Dr. Dale met with Bob alone. Dr. Dale said that my x-rays and bloodwork look clean. Dr. Dale said that he was very pleased with how I am doing after the amputation and chemo. When my initial histopathology was done on my amputated leg, the analyst indicated a high grade K9OSA with a median survival time of 20 weeks with palliative care only (that would have been in mid-February 2015). Here it is now early April and I am feeling great!! I love eating all of the good things that Bob and Nana give to me. They love me very much.

Usually, when Bob comes home from work, Nana has let me outside on the back deck and I can hear his car pull up. I go over to the fence to greet him. He walks toward the fence and says, "Hey, Baby Doll!!!!....Hey, Beautiful!!!!" I really like that a lot.

Last night Nana, Bob and I had a Domino's pizza. It was a Philly Cheesesteak Pizza. Bob let me eat every third bite from his pizza slices. I really enjoyed it. I love Bob a lot. I know he loves me very much, too.

We'll see what happens from here. Bob tells me that I can have anything I want. I just want to be with him and Nana. The good tasting food is just a side benefit. I love Bob and Nana very much. I know they love me, too.

I love that Bob and Nana give you anything you want. Heck it comes a time when its needed for quality of life. When my cats reach that stage I'll give Eli spicy chips and Mona wet kitten food.

It must feel so good for Bob to have you welcome him home. Nothing can be better than that.

Oh Mattie! You just gave us the best Easter present ever! My eyes are all water because you and Bob (and Nana too!) are just livin the life, making the most of every day and taking it as it comes. I love that. No obsessing, no fretting, just being. Like Kerren said, it's all about quality and you guys have it nailed. Good job!!!

Got any more photos to share? We need some Mattie Mugshots!

Hi everyone!! I have enjoyed all of your comments. Thank you for all of your best wishes. I wanted to share some pictures that Bob has taken lately.

.

Bob and I like to eat pizza.

I was looking at Nana's Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it looked really good (usually if I look cute enough, I always get some of whatever Bob and Nana are eating...it's not very hard for me to look that cute....it's natural ability.)

.

Sometimes Bob brings pizza onto the front porch. He thought he had a good idea of taking pictures of me eating the pizza...it didn't take me long to analyze his intentions, so I moved in...

.

Normally Bob eats a couple of bites and then I get a bite. This time Bob was fiddling with his camera to get a good shot of me eating my bite and I managed to eat just about the entire slice....Bob got one good picture of this.

Whew...all that's left is the crust....

I'm so cute...I just have to post a selfie stick image of me waiting for me pizza...

Bob was checking flash settings on his camera and got a pic of his dusty netbook. I always like to look at Bob. Even when he doesn't know I'm looking right at him....

Great job, Bob!!!! I am so glad you're doing so well. Keep kicking cancer's butt!

Our story: Broke rear leg in June 2013 - non-conclusive results for cancer so leg was plated and pinned. Enlarged spleen in September 2013 and had it removed and was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma and started chemotherapy. Became a Tripawd January 8th, 2014 and definitive Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis. Three major surgeries in 7 months and Shelby took them all like a champ only to lose her battle to cancer in her brain. We had 8 amazing extra months together and no regrets. #shelbystrong #loveofmylife
