Doubt that it is anything to worry about at all. Good for you though for being so observant and pro-active. .May just be some scar tissue starting to form. Regardless, this way, by having the Vet look at it...IF...IF...IF... IF....it's a bit of infection, you can nip it in the butt!

i just wanted to chime in with Sally in regards to how your pup is doing. I hope you were able to get some definitive answers from your vet?
My Stewie had a pretty significant seroma complication during his recovery and so he had a bit of a floppy lump at the base of his scar for some time afterwards. otherwise he has a ‘top lump’ and a ‘bottom lump’ that are his scars ‘dog ears’. We always tell him that he has four ears not two! Ha!
Anyhow all the best for further recovery and we look forward to hearing some pawsive results!
