If you're coping with a cancer diagnosis in your dog or cat, you'll hear the words "Mitotic Index" mentioned quite a bit.
The quick definition is that the Mitotic Index from a pathology report indicates how many cells are growing at the time, or dividing, at the time that the tumor is looked at.
