Hello Tripawd families!

I'm an owner of a 9ish year old Doberman/Hound mix Federico. who has been a front limb amputee for 7 1/2 years now. Thankfully, not as a result of cancer, but from a accident and negligent previous owners. I am also a massage therapist for people and pets. I work with a veterinary acupuncturist, Dr. Lena McCullough, who has literally wrote the book on holistic veterinary cancer care. She has also created some magical herbal formulas. She has done wonders for our Fede, so I wanted to share what she has to offer with you all. Here is a link to her website: A Path With Paws. One issue we were having is that we can no longer take him on walks, and we couldn't provide him with the necessary exercise to calm his anxiety filled mind. He would just sit there crying all day for no reason, we tried it all and nothing helped. We even bought his a wheelchair which he refuses. So we started him on a very small daily dose of the Calm and Peaceful formula, it has changed our lives! He can actually relax now. This type of anxiety is totally normal and pretty common in elderly and disabled dogs, and it is wonderful to have an option that is natural and easy for his body to metabolize.

I hope this info may help you find relief for your tripawd. Good luck!

Hi Kim and Federico, welcome!

Wow, 7.5 years as a Tripawd is pretty darn cool. We'd love to hear more about your story, feel free to send it to us and we'll feature you in our weekly Tripawd Tuesday spotlight.

We LOVE Dr. McCullough! In fact we've had her on our Tripawd Talk Radio show before, check it out:

Thank you for mentioning the Calm & Peaceful formula. Is that something that Dr. McCullough distributes? Do you have more info about it? Feel free to share more details about that in our Hopping Around Discussion Topic.

We're so hoppy to hear things are going well with Federico, he sounds like a wonderful doggie. Keep on updating us, your future posts won't need approval.
