Hello,
I just received my trio of Ruffwear Skyliner Booties for my new front tripod Tahoe. At first he did the booty dance, shaking all booties off and then I re-secured and only the front bootie stayed on. The two back booties cannot stay on even when securing the velcro fairly tight.
Any suggestions from others who have been successful with using these booties for a Tripawd?

Stirling, hey did you order any socks with those boots? The socks really help them stay on. These tips might also help:

I've found that with certain dog boots, you need a size smaller for the hind feet than you do for the front.

Thanks Jerry and Dharma. I did not get the socks but am going to order as TAhoe keeps the front bootie on but not the back ones. Back ones are a size smaller and I measured the width real accurately. We did our first rehab session earlier this week and the therapist was shaking her head regarding two back booties. I think we are beyond the 'bootie dance' which was sure funny at first.

Hmmm. Do Tahoe's rear toes touch the end of the inside of the boot? If so then going a size down probably won't help, but the socks might. If his feet really slip around in there then the socks probably won't make a difference. I'm sorry it's been so challenging! Keep us posted OK?
P.S. We'd love to hear more about the rehab therapy you're both doing in some other discussion topic.

Yes, the rear claws appear to be touching the end of the bootie. I spoke with the company where I got the booties from and they have just sent me the socks, so we will see if they solve the problem. Tahoe does pretty good on the hardwood but I am always holding onto the back of the harness with any large movements.
The Rehab session was done at the hospital where we did the amp. They have at least two certified canine rehab therapists who work with various patients. In our case, the first session was provided gratis. What would be the preferred forum topic to post about the Rehab?

Hey.....'been wondering about you two!, So Tahoe's not doing the booty dance very well? How ' out just getting area rugs all over? I never have used the boots because I used the scatter rugs instead.....not pretty but works!
