Just came across this on Twitter. What a sweetie, she reminds us of Wyatt Ray :

Meet Avalon! She is part of our Phoenix Dog Program. She came to us as a stray with a horrific rear leg injury that required amputation. We are unsure what happened to her. She is a medium sized girl and weighs about 66 pounds. Our vet says she is about two years old. Avalon is the definition of a Velcro dog. She has bonded quickly with her foster father and is VERY loving. She is very verbal and seeks out attention and affection. She gives great kisses! That being said, Avalon does not like chaos. She is reactive to people she doesn’t know and this must be carefully managed. She must have proper introductions. She is also stressed by young children and their noise and busy-ness. It took Avalon several visits with her foster family’s 3 ½ year old grandson for her to be trusted out with him. She now loves when he comes to visit. She must be watched carefully as she can still be a bit unpredictable but she has come a long way since her terrible ordeal. She is crate trained, housebroken (has never had an accident inside), loves car rides, and can be trusted with free roam when her people are home and overnight. She gets along very well with her two foster dog siblings, will chase our chicken, and is untested with cats. She will stay right with you outside and wants to be where you are. Avalon is ready for her forever home. She would do best in a quiet environment that isn’t overly busy. She is being fostered in Louisa, VA, midway between Charlottesville and Richmond.

Oh gosh! What a sweetie!! She's just beautiful!! And Louisa is not that far from me (about an hour)!

HOWEVER, since I do not jave any more room in my bed (see below), I can't adopt darn it. But if I can assist in a y way...go check him out for somebody....vouch for any potential adopter here,I'll do that in a heartbeat!

Haha - you are too funny! Yes, that does look like a tight fit. But, at least F&M are polite and orderly sleepers- they look very cozy there.
